February 2010 Blog

Hello All,

Wow time is going by so fast!

The lil guy is
8 months old! He has 4 teeth and crazy hair! I love him so much and cherish each
day we spend together.

I'm
sorry to say that my on-line training business isn't doing so well. There are so many on-line
programs and in person training sessions available that it's hard for me to get it going. I still
have a few people that I help and random people are always asking questions but that does
not build a business. So, I've decided to not only help people when I can but to get back into
modeling. I have a photo shoot coming up this Saturday and possibly more in the near future.
Look for new photo's and hopefully new opportunities!

I am still coaching Figure/Bikini competitors. Contact me for details!

Please keep the email's coming with all your training/exercise questions. I love hearing from
you.

I hope you all continue to be happy and healthy.

Below is an excerpt from and interview with Beaumont Buzz (2008)

BB: What’s your history as a personal trainer?
MG: I have been involved with training people for over 10 years...currently I'm working at Beaumont Health &
Fitness as a trainer.

BB: How did you get started?
MG: I've been active in sports my whole life. What started my personal training path was being involved in
competing.

BB: Why does someone need a PT?
MG: A personal trainer is so important for many reasons, we are there to motivate and support you as well as
making sure you are executing the exercises properly, all while having fun.

BB: If it’s something they’ve been thinking about doing for awhile, what would you say to get them to take the
plunge?
MG: It is never to late to start a healthy lifestyle and I'm the one that can help put in all in perspective for them.

BB: Do you stay with the client the entire session or just give instructions and let them be?
MG: I am very much involved throughout the session, I'll even workout with you to keep you motivated if needed.

BB:  How do they sign up with you?
MG: Come into the gym and ask to train with me.  I will also make house calls which can be discussed.

BB: What’s your #1 workout tip?
MG: I have many ! But if I had to pick just one I would say to concentrate on your form while working out is so
important.

BB:  What’s the worst thing someone can do when starting a work out regime?
MG: Neglecting to watch what they eat, people think because they are working out they can eat whatever they
want. SO wrong !
